Is air conditioning maintenance mandatory?
Yes, in many cases. Under French decree 2020-912, any AC or air-to-air heat pump rated between 4 kW and 70 kW must be serviced by a professional at least every two years. The vast majority of home systems are covered.
A leak-tightness check also applies to systems holding more than 2 kg of refrigerant. These operations may only be carried out by a technician holding the F-Gas certificate. Our technicians hold the required qualifications.
